What is NB-IoT?

NB-IoT or Narrowband IoT is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN). It uses a subset of the LTE standard.

It has applications in various IoT systems that do not require sending large amounts of data or continuous exchange of data like Smart Waste Management, Smart Metering, etc.
